The announcement came at The Thunderdome stadium this afternoon and was broadcast live through the club's Facebook and Youtube channels.  Present were the club's president Mr. Wilak Lohtong, Director of Football Ronnarit Suewaja,  and Head Coach Mario Gjurovski

Mr Suewaja, "We're excited for the second leg to begin and pleased with the progress under Coach Mario, who is now the longest-running Head Coach in club history.  Mario understands the DNA of Muangthong football, and we have time to improve and make the leap from tenth to top five by the season's end.  

"In all my years with the club this is the best combination of players to reinforce the squad and bring us back to the top of the table and challenging for championships."

Mario Gjurovski, "Thanks to the club for believing in me and providing the reinforcements.  I'm excited about getting back to playing fun football, and appreciate the challenges ahead."

Patiwat Khammai, the new goalkeeper,  "I am delighted and honored that Muangthong United has chosen me.  I will do my best to bring success to the club."

Kritprom Boonsarn, the new left-back, said: "It is a great honour to be with this great club.  I aim to perform will and help the club to the best possible finish. Personally, I'm 100 per cent ready for the second leg."

Kakhana Kamyok, atheyoung midfielder, said: "I am very happy to be at Muangthong United, which is the club that I followed as a child.  It's a dream come true.  I look forward to being a part of the team and to success."

Kannarin Thawornsak, the new defensive midfielder, shared, "First of all, I would like to thank the Muangthong executives for believing and giving me the opportunity to play at such a great club. Personally, I too am 100 per cent ready to play in the second leg.

Charoensak Wongkorn, winger for the Thai national team and recent ASEAN Championships, said, "I am very honored to come to this club. It's definitely a big club.  Today, as a new member, I want to do my best for the goals of the club and Muanghtong football fans."

In the end, Willian Popp, a fan favourtie from previous seasons, said,  "Personally, I'm delighted to be able to play here again.  Although many teams in the Thai League were interested in me, my heart is with Muangthong, so I chose here.  I hope to perform as well as before."

Muangthong United begin the second leg of games with a visit to Lampang FC on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 6:00 p.m., and then will be at home on January 28th against Nakhonratchasima FC.
