Muangthing United thanks all those who participated in the recent charity auction following on from the friendly pre-season match for Thailand's Special Olympic Athletes.
Thanks to the bidding on the official jerseys worn during the Charity Battle Match with Bangkok United, 148,800 baht was raised to support Thailand's Special Olympics athletes.
Muangthong United won the friendly match 5-4, which was a good chance for both coaches to try out new signings and test game plans. The match was an entertaining affair for fans, with pre-game performances from GMM recording artists, a halftime demonstration of Thai dance, and then the announcement of the jersey auctions following the game.
Thailand's 2022-23 season begins August 13th, and Muangthong United play their first home fixture Sunday, August 17th, against northern Thailand's Lampang FC.
