MTUTD Welcomes German Striker Kenan Dünnwald-Turan

Muangthong United is delighted to officially announce the signing of German forward Kenan Dünnwald-Turan. The 29-year-old striker joins the Kirin to strengthen the attack for the remainder of the 2025-26 season.

Born in Düsseldorf, Germany, the imposing 1.89m (6 ft 2 in) forward brings a wealth of experience from a career spanning several European leagues. Dünnwald-Turan has played extensively in his native Germany for clubs such as MSV Duisburg and Fortuna Köln, and also has experience in England with Bristol Rovers and Scunthorpe United.

The move to the Thunderdome sees him reunite with a familiar face. His most recent club was Hebar Pazardzhik in the Bulgarian top flight, where he was a teammate of our current defender, Stefan Tsonkov. This existing connection, along with his German heritage, will provide a natural link with fellow German-speaking players Melvyn Lorenzen and John-Patrick Strauß, helping him to settle quickly into the squad.
