Muangthong United has completed the signing of Serbian centre-forward Marko Šarić, a 188cm tall target man with extensive experience in the Serbian SuperLiga. He turned professional at just 18 years old and has consistently played at the highest European level, while also having prior experience in major Asian leagues – including the Chinese Super League with Qingdao Hainiu and the Uzbekistan Super League with Neftchi Fergana. At only 27 years old, he boasts an impressive record of 32 goals in 186 top-flight league appearances.

Marko Šarić perfectly matches the qualities and tactical demands of head coach Mario Ivanović. The Serbian striker will strengthen Muangthong United’s forward line, adding firepower as the Kirin chase goals and aim high in the second leg of the Thai League season.

Marko Šarić successfully completed his medical examination this afternoon. The Serbian forward is immediately available for selection and ready to make his debut in the away match against Kanchanaburi Power on Saturday, January 17, followed by the big cup clash against BG Pathum United in the League Cup next week.
