New Era at Muangthong

Muangthong United has officially appointed José Alves Borges as the club’s new head coach. The highly experienced Brazilian manager arrives with a deep understanding of Thai football and is tasked with elevating the team’s performance immediately.

Borges is no stranger to success in Thailand, having famously led TTM Samut Sakhon to the league title and BEC Tero Sasana to the League Cup trophy. His history with Muangthong is also extensive, having previously served as the club’s Academy Director. With past coaching stints at Singha Chiangrai United and PTT Rayong, Borges brings a wealth of tactical knowledge and local expertise.

The new head coach will begin training sessions immediately, working alongside the existing coaching staff including Jedsada Jitsawad, Datsakorn Thonglao, Dagno Siaka, and Wisanusak Kaewruang as they prepare for the upcoming clash against Port FC.
