The Beginning from a University Dream

ร่มเกล้า ยูไนเต็ด ก่อตั้งขึ้นในปี 2020 โดยมีเป้าหมายหลักคือการเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาทุนกีฬาของ มหาวิทยาลัยเกษมบัณฑิต ได้มีเวทีแข่งขันจริง ซึ่งที่มาของชื่อทีมก็มาจากที่ตั้งของสโมสร – นั่นคือย่านถนนร่มเกล้า เขตที่เต็มไปด้วยพลังของเยาวชนและความฝัน
Romklao United was founded in 2020 with the main goal of providing Kasem Bundit University’s sports scholarship students with a real competitive stage. The team is named after its location in the Romklao Road area—a district full of youthful energy and dreams.

ในทุกๆ ปี มหาวิทยาลัยจะเปิดคัดตัว ‘ทุนกีฬา’ เพียงครั้งเดียว ทำให้มีผู้สมัครกว่า 1,200 คน แต่จะถูกคัดเหลือเพียง 20 คนสุดท้าย ที่ได้โอกาสเข้ามาใช้ชีวิตในฐานะนักฟุตบอลทุน
Each year, the university holds only one ‘Sports Scholarship’ selection round, receiving over 1,200 applicants but selecting only the final 20, who get the opportunity to live as scholarship footballers.

ปัจจุบันมีนักศึกษาทุนอยู่ราวๆ 100 ชีวิต โดยส่วนใหญ่เป็นคนต่างจังหวัด ทำให้ส่วนใหญ่กิน-นอน-ฝึกซ้อมอยู่ในรั้วมหาวิทยาลัยเดียวกัน นี่จึงเป็นพื้นที่แห่งการเรียนรู้และเติบโตทั้งในสนามและในชีวิตจริง 🌤️
Currently, there are around 100 scholarship students, mostly from other provinces, who largely eat, sleep, and train within the same university campus. This is a place for learning and growth, both on the pitch and in real life.

Romklao United’s philosophy has been clear from day one: “We don’t just build a team to win on the pitch, but to create professional footballers who win in life,” according to Dr. Atipol Suwannadee, the Club President.
