On Saturday, April 11, Muangthong United played a friendly match against Kasetsart FC to maintain fitness and provide opportunities for young prospects. A key highlight was the coaching staff’s focused discussion regarding the role of Krittapak Sangsawat, a 21-year-old midfielder who has been earning increasing game time recently.

Our head coach, Jorge Borges, maintained constant communication with his assistant, “Coach Jet” Jetsada Jitsawad, while “Khaopan” was on the pitch. Following the final whistle, both coaches continued their dialogue with Krittapak, providing tactical advice and guidance to further his development.

Regarding the details of the discussion, the Brazilian manager revealed that the staff is dedicated to finding the optimal role for the Phatthalung-born youngster to evolve into a top-quality player for the Thailand National Team in the future. Coach Borges emphasized that he wants the player to constantly challenge himself rather than taking the easy path.

As the sun set over the training ground long after the match ended at 6:30 PM, the lessons shared with Krittapak Sangsawat served as a reminder that the philosophy of seeking challenges applies not only to athletes but to everyone in their daily lives.
