Coach’s Reaction

The Croatian coach praised the intense preparation in training over the past fortnight. “Everyone performed their duties excellently. For the last two weeks, the players and staff have worked incredibly hard, training to the limit every single minute. The goal we scored today was the direct result of that hard work,” Ivanković stated.

Despite the frustration of conceding a long-range equalizer, the coach remains focused on the bigger picture. “I felt the three points were in our hands, but we conceded to a long shot—you have to credit them (Lamphun), it was a great strike. Of course we are disappointed because we played well enough to win, but our goal does not change. Every match we play, we play for the three points.”
