Muangthong United have officially signed South Korean defender Kim Dong-su, a 30-year-old centre-back standing at 188 cm, as their first foreign reinforcement for the second leg of the Thai League season.

Kim brings a wealth of experience, having started his overseas career in Germany with Hamburger SV’s U19 and reserve teams. He later played in Japan’s J.League with Omiya Ardija, and gained valuable top-flight experience in Vietnam with major clubs Hoang Anh Gia Lai and Da Nang.

The tough-tackling defender has also featured in the AFC Champions League, facing Asian giants such as Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors and Yokohama F. Marinos. The signing was completed on Monday, December 29, 2025.

Kim Dong-su shared his commitment through the club: “I promise that every minute I am on the pitch, I will give 100%. That’s who I am, and I hope the fans will support me just like they did with previous Korean players at Muangthong United.”
