KIRIN HOMECOMING: Celebrating Our Alumni in the Bangkok Clash

This Saturday, October 18th, 2025, join us in welcoming back several Kirin Alumni as they return to the Thunderdome Stadium once again! The upcoming match against True Bangkok United features a host of former Muangthong United stars who developed within our system. This is a chance to celebrate the club’s legacy in producing top-tier national talent.

THE ALUMNI RETURNING TO THUNDERDOME

🔥 Teerasil Dangda: 2007–2019

A center-forward who has been with the club since its founding, Teerasil is a legend whose success includes winning the Thai League 4 times (2009, 2010, 2012, and 2016). He is a proud product of the Kirin system, achieving challenges with Manchester City (England), Grasshoppers Zürich (Switzerland), Almería (Spain), Sanfrecce Hiroshima, and Shimizu S-Pulse (Japan).

🌍 Thitiphan Puangchan: 2010–2016

Another player who grew up in the youth system, gradually developing into a key part of the Muangthong 2012 Thai League Championship squad before moving on to become a regular member of the Thai National Team.

💪 Boontawee Theppawong: 2010–2023

A player from the Kirin Academy (the same generation as Picha Utra, Pithiwat Sukjitthammakul, Suphorn Peenagatapho, and Suriya Singmui). He became a major player for the Muangthong first team during the 2022-23 season.

🛡️ Chayawat Srinawong: 2012–2016

An attacker who was signed by Muangthong from BCC FC in 2012. Although he never played for the Kirin, he is considered a true part of the team’s history.

🧤 Patiwat Khammai: 2013–2016 and 2022–2023

The current Thai National Team #1 goalkeeper signed with Muangthong in 2013 before making his name at Pattaya United (later Samut Prakan City). He returned to the Kirin in the 2022-23 season before securing his permanent role at BU.

⚽ Suphan Thongsong: 2013–2017

A defender who was part of the 2016 Thai League Championship squad, joining Muangthong in 2013 and developing into a consistent member of the Thai National Team.

💎 Weerathep Pomphan: 2019–2024

A true gem that Muangthong signed from Chamchuri United and developed into arguably the top central midfielder in the country, known for his class and vision.

🎯 Jakkapan Praisuwan: 2024

Jakkapan joined Muangthong in the 2024-25 season on loan from BG Pathum United and was integral to the team’s run in the AFC Champions League 2 group stages.
